Capreolus Fine Foods has been named as one of the 3 finalists in the 'Best Food Producer' category of this year's BBC Food & Farming Awards. There were over 6,000 nominations for this year's awards and we are very excited to make it to the last 3! The other finalists are: Gigha Halibut from the island of Gigha in the Hebrides who farm the increasingly rare Atlantic Halibut and then smoke the fish over oak chips made from whisky barrels from the Kilchoman Distillery on Islay Abernethy Butter from County Down in Northern Ireland who make hand-made butter from local cream. ...
